TBF, you could pick up a standard grill for next to nowt(ish).

Personally (and that's the key thing here) I quite like the badged grill. Gives a car a "nose" so to speak.

If you're happy paying £22... to try it out, then yes :) It doesn't sound like an unreasonable amount of cash to me... but then that's personal perspective (and I also agree with the do what you think is right for you comments :groove: )

Agree with the above comments, why not get a standard one to change over when you feel the need - or make a new one yourself more fitting to the style you would like but still with a nose of sorts .. as I have :good:

It's really down to you and the look you want. Want to keep it standard? Then it's a no brainer. If, however, you want to take a look at other options then there's plenty of mods.
Badgeless grill with inner spots, badgeless without Spots (a few of us, me included have this).

Pretty certain that someone will have a pic of what you want.

Theres a pic of mine somewhere, I'll find it later, one (done by Sidewalk Dave) is a baged, cut down Golf grill with no inner spots,

The other (by me) is the standard grill, the top and bottom runs are standard, I've cut out the middle 4? runs and replaced with a inset grill, then sprayed the lot Red to match the car... everyone hates this, but I love it!

Its PERSONAL Prefererence at the end of the day!

...i have a few standard grills, i'll do you a swap, one or two standards (maybe so you can mess with one to creat your own look?) for your modded one?

or you can have a grill for £15 ...where you live mate?
