Scirocco Register

I had a water hose blow, the one from the exhaust manifold to the carb. I have fitted a webber so there is a metal U pipe linking the two together. I think the part number is 055121057B from looking on the vagcat.com its a Mk1 gls FR engine. I phoned VW and it was discontinued in 2007

Anyone know were I might get one or even better two as the other one looks a bit old now.

I did think about jointing the two outlets but its a bit cramped and the hose creases when I bend it and the fuel lines are near and Im worried about having a hot water hose right next to the fuel hose.

Anyone got around this problem?

I will try to get a photo tomorrow to explain it better.

Have you tried GSF - or ECP?

GSF and ECP dont stock them either...

Looks like I might have to bodge it or see if VW have any left in the country...

VW show 1 in the country! The garage is looking for it so keep fingers crossed.

Thanks for the link PeteGLi I ordered a hose and it fits! I did not mange to test it with the car running as it was raining again.
I ordered it from Merlin Motorsport from the internet £11.37 ex VAT, they do a lot of bits, they even sell VDO gauges if anyones after a new one.

i had a similar problem with a mk1 driver i had just went to a local scrappy and dug through there spares bin and found some that were the same shape and diameter cost me £3 if i remember rightly.....
