I've noticed quite a bit of play in the steering wheel, I've thought about replacing the steering rack bushes first, but do you think I might need a new rack, or are there other options
Thanks
Sam

Personally from what I've experienced and heard/read the rack's in these never really fail (on the rare occasions that they become loose they can be adjusted)
I'd be checking track rod ends, wishbone bushes (I'd be checking these first!), suspension top mounts, wheel bearings etc way before I'd even consider the rack.
Hope that helps.
Rich.

assume you mean rotational free play at the wheel? if yes, as above. if no, steering column bushes
