doing this.....

first off was to fit up some new suspension to the roc

so on went a set of lowering springs (not coilies)

60/40 split front/rear

now looking like this

last rear strut was a complete arse to get off ended up having to get the angle grinder out!

got there in the end though

gunna have to take the poo gaurds out though as getting a bit of rubbing when turning right (not when turning left though?!)

also fitted a front lower strut brace

and whacked on the newly painted filler neck thats been sat in the garage for ages! Yey finally got a weekend to play around with the rocco!
nice bit of colour coding ;-)!!!

just need to clear out the rust in the fuel lines now and fit some new injectors and job done :D

one thing i have noticed is that the handling seems a lot lighter now and a bit less grip? seems odd but it still corners like its on rails

brilliant idea helped along by the fact red hammerite was on special offer ;-)

got about 4 coats of stone chip paint on in black, then sanded back a bit then another 3-4 coats of red hammerite on top

hopefully should last a while! :D

drivers side has a couple of scabs and small dings

was hoping to get some minters to put on

not noticeable from that distance, the rust scabs in the usual places have been touched over with a paint pen

so just trying to perfect things a little!

the doors you got in good nick?
