I don't know why people write that stuff... "order only Imperial blue metallic paint" how else do you buy paint? "one of four in total in UK" errr, I used to think I was the only scirocco fan in the world up until I met another...granted there are not many riegers but at least I can spell it and I can easily recall 5 without his, I certainly have never seen that one before.
oooh I seem to have got myself all het up...lol no, it does seem like a nice car.

Yep - Chaps has one - the metallic green monster...

And I remember a yellow one floating around a couple of years ago - I think it was from the southwest.

Chap called Michael who used to own Duggers bronze 16v brought one over from Germany after a resto. Last time I heard it was in use, he was living in North Wales.
This Storm based car - remember it from various VW mags from 15 years ago or so??
Have loads of photos from Inters 90 when a reiger Mk1, Mk2 and a Corrado were in attendence - also lots of shots in the Ian Kuah book - VW Power and Style - that is recommended.

I have that exact kit laying unfitted in my garage. It came with a 2.0 16v 9a rocco I bought on here known as "WhiteCat", was owned by a bloke call Geoff or "The Reverend". The car hasn't been on the road for 4 years though! Hope to get it up and running with the kit on eventually.

That's going back a bit. That car was a bit of a legend back in its day

I went to have a look at the whitecat and was tempted to buy it just for the wheels and kit, unfortunately the ad didnt say it wasnt running so was a bit of a wasted 200 mile trip. Would love to see it when its running with the kit on though

Yeh, I have a magazine with it back in the day in all it's glory. I spoke to Ant and Sean at the national meet and they remembered it.

I have 1 yes... and I like it alot! Toy'd with selling it a year ago when i blew the turbo, and invested in a house, but thankfully i've managed to keep, and every time i open the garage i'm so happy I did.. Was hoping to get out to some shows this year but unfortunately time has got the better of me again and i've missed most of them.

10,000Euro is steep for his car, I think mine is virtually as modded as you can get, and i only paid £4,500 for it....
I didnt think there were anymore roccos with this kit on in the UK, but you learn something new everyday!

When I bought it off Guy (Orionics) he said he'd spent the best part of £20k on it... Looking at the list of mod's he put on the car its quite easy to see how he spent so much.
