Morning all!
i need some advise please...
i need a new fuel pump for my MK2 storm, 1984. The pump required is the one which sits under the vehicle near the rear wheel.
Where is the best place to pick one up?
VW heritage currently has none in stock
Euro car parts want £190 for a Bosh fuel pump
Ebay prices range from £20 onwards but manufacturer information is hit and miss.
Is there a specific brand anyone uses? i think £190 is steep, where as i don't want to buy one for £20 and end up stranded on the side of the road because i am too tight to buy a decent one!
If anyone has any information on where to pick up a decent branded pump for a good price please let me know
Thanks in advance

Carparts4less is owned by Euro Car Parts and can be substantially cheaper - worth a look.

Bit too far.
I've got 2 used ones somewhere but no way to test them you could have tried them out if you were nearer.
The one Duggers turned up seems aa decent buy.

The part number is 171906091A. VW Classic Parts in Germany are selling one as "original equipment quality":
https://www.volkswagen-classic-parts.co ... 171906091A
It may well be the Bosch pump part number 0580464126 which is available from around £60 online.
