I swapped out my GT2 steering wheel for the 4 horn buttons type as I had on my older GT.
I just think it looked better design wise, anyway I bought a leather cover from eBay.
It’s a really good fit and it came with plenty of cotton. I was worried about using too much, but in the end I had a fair amount left.
My wheel rim had a lot of
wear and the material felt thin. So much so, the feel wasn’t pleasant.
This cover turned out better than I thought. The wheel actually feels a lot better in my hands, and I don’t think it looks bad. I picked black cotton to keep the bling down... Any thoughts ?

Re: Steering wheel cover
looks a really good fit and made to measure.
Was any stitching required?
Send a link from Ebay so I can have a look.

Re: Steering wheel cover
It is a good fit designed for the mk2 scirocco and golf. Easy to stitch even though at first I thought the piece was too narrow. It’s not and you realise this once you start to work the thread around.
I asked the seller for the black thread, different colours are available....
Here’s a link to the seller I purchased from:

Cheers.
