Does part number 171-919-051/L do the same being for a GTi model?

I bought one from the German seller who originally listed ten available, now down to seven. The quickest way to find the listing is to go to ebay.de and search for 171919051N.
I can confirm that the part arrives quickly and well-packaged from Germany.
I was keeping an eye open for one after thinking I needed one in the summer and discovering they were unobtainable. The German word to search for is Tankgeber.
