Uprated Headlight Loom - No Sidelights - Solved

Hi All,
I bought one of those 2 relay uprated looms off the bay of e
Gone to fit it and I've got no sidelights!
I thought is was bringing them on at the same time as the dipped beam on both switch settings, but it actually wasn't, just dipped beam coming on both switch settings.
So read around and realised i need to unplug the dim/dip resistor with the two yellow wires under slam panel
Done this and now dipped beam comes on with setting 2 on the switch as you would expect but still no sidelights on setting 1!
Put the wiring back to standard and everything works as it should!
What am I doing wrong? Help!
