Oil buzzer madness

Was running in the new engine and the oil pressure buzzer started to go off after doing 500 miles. Though it was the oil being too thin so replaced with an oil which was recommended on here somewhere.
What happens.... car starts and idles fine, warms up perfectly. When you hit above around 2k revs the oil light, buzzer and also the coolant light comes on. The coolant temperature stays in the middle of the gauge. If I just half turn the key on/off the buzzer stops until I next go above 2k.
Found ( I think ) the oil sensors, removed each in turn to see if there was a bad sensor but the problem still remained. Tried earthing a sensor to the block to stop the buzzer which did not work.
I have found a few threads on this forum about this already, I think this is beyond my capabilities as a mechanic so I was going to drop her into the VW specialist. Concerned that it would be safe for the engine to do so?
Any thoughts?
