Hello,

Fired up the 16v gtx today and let it run for half hour, noticed oil coming out the bottom of the airbox and lots in the metering head

What would cause this volume to enter the airway

Valve seals is the prefered worst case

It could also be piston rings or even head gasket.
A dry and then a wet compression test would confirm valve seals or rings. I would imagine that there is excess pressure when taking the oil filler cap of whilst it is running.

Was thinking about it today and it may be the routing of the block breather so ill clean it up and discpnnect it and go again and see what happens

Then ill probable just get a hg kit and get a good look at the cylinder walls
