Tailgate black vinyl removal

Anyone removed the black vinyl from the top of the tailgate ? Presume its just self adhesive as per the doors and B pillars?

Heat gun and away we go to remove..

yup exactly the same stuff,
i found a toffee wheel removes it pretty quickly if its allready cracked.
it might be easier to remove the spoiler too so you can get it all off


I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!

As James said it’s defiantly easier with the spoiler off. When I used to do vinyl (and when I removed the rear vinyl on mine) I always used a safety scraper and something like Avery adhesive remover... very good stuff
