hello, im in the middle wel almost end of converting my rocco to 1.8t, problem i have is the original car was a carb so it dosent have a lift pump, iv tried without one but the pump under tue car is working toooo hard, is their any orher modal vag that uses a pump that would work, as you put scirocco or mk1 golf lift pump in ebay and the prices are ridiculous, in comparson with other models, im on a tight budget you see,

Polo from early 90s - the only difference (I think) is the plug points up instead of sideways...

Also any mk1 Golf cabriolet with fuel injection from mid-84 onwards will have the same pump.

Hi I have one from g40 for sale that will fit. Failing that you could fit an injection tank.
