Can anyone let me know which of the many senders which seem to appear on Halfords/local motor factors computer, is the correct one. I give my number plate and seem to have a choice of 7, but only three look the right type.
My sender, located closest to the engine, is round type and blue, clipped in with horse shoe type clip. Ive replaced it but get same issue, as not reading properly, gauge needle hardly moves.
So don't want to keep buying them, one thing my engine came out of a mk2 golf, so maybe original sender type is wrong for scirocco gauge?
Fingers crossed....
correct temp sender. mk2
