steering lock question anyone could answer?
anyone with an untampered gt2 could tell me if the steering lock engages when the steering wheel is straight or at an angle? anyone willing to photo their steering lock engaged so I can reference mine thanks.

I think that depends on the position of the wheels when you take the key out of the ignition.

no the steering column has only two notches 180 degrees from one another. once the key is removed the wheel will either "catch" when straight or when turned at a slight angle. I need to know if a stock scirocco catches at an angle or when straight. and if my Haynes lies or not.
