gear box problems

a srew got into the bell housing and now it has done something, there is gear box oil is all over the road. do i need a new gear box or could it just be the seals or something. cheers jon

def new gearbox. hav had this happen in a fiat. the screw will have stood up with the rotatin flywheel and against the bellhousing and punched a hole thru somewhere. get down the scrappy n see if you can find a decent new one.


I dont mind project cars but I HATE SANDING!!!

for what you can pick up a 2nd hand box for, it isn't worth the time messing around trying to fix it unless you're going to do something fun like stick quaif innards into it
