Fuel Pump mounting gasket
Hi there,
I am looking for the gasket which the fuel pump is mounted to on the engine block, where can I get this from? It's for a MK2
Cheers

Re: Fuel Pump mounting gasket
Not having a mk2 so not 100% sure which gasket you mean?
Is it or is there a plastic type spacer plate/thick gasket or the rubber o ring style gasket which fits into a cut out on the fuel pump?
If it's the rubber o ring style gasket I just replace mine on my Mk1 as I tired just using blue hylomar but it still leaked so I fitted a rubber gasket used for the thermostat as I had a spare, it was the same size roughly and it fits nicely and has stopped my oil leak, I also used a little smear of blue hylomar.

Re: Fuel Pump mounting gasket
Hi Mark,
It looks like where the fuel pump is on the block, there is a rubber gasket, I don't think its the o-ring one like in the link. Tomorrow I will try and get a picture. It looks like it's this one which is leaking oil. Cheers

The O ring is 049127311A. Used in a few applications - https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/0491273 ... c-engines/

I believe it is the black flange at the back, where the leak is coming from. Unknownmale, I take it, the part number you posted was for this too...

Re: Fuel Pump mounting gasket
Yeah
035127301C is for the flange and o ring.
049127311A is just the o ring for the pump side.
If you can get hold of the flange you could just clean it up with some fine sand paper provided it's not cracked and buy two O rings instead.
