They are no longer available in the UK, you can get them new from Germany but they are expensive, 2nd hand ones do pop up every now and then or you can mod a plastic BMW filler neck to fit.
If it's just a small hole at the top as that is where they rust is it possible to treat and weld in a new bit of metal?

My one was rusty in the top and had pin holes all over it. I welded in some new metal in the top and used quick steel metal puty to fill in some of the holes. It was a bit of a bodge if I'm honest and it hasn't held up that well and weeps fuel out a little bit.
Which bmw one fits the scirocco ?

Or you could just buy one from gsf. As I have been saying for years. I even posted a thread on it, with photos. Ok, so they've gone up a bit now and are 76 quid, but available off the shelf. I honestly despair with this club at times

You can use a late cabriolet fuel neck. crazyquiff do a stainless one which is just under £200 or get a steel one of flea bay for £50

I will do a how to when I get round to replacing the one on the current mk2. It will come with pictures and part numbers. I will then murder anyone who tells me gsf don't do them.

Re: Where can i find a new fuel filler neck?
Hopefully. Last time I did a how to with pics, most of the responses were just telling me that it is impossible and no scirocco necks are available, even when pictures were given.
Going to have to look at this soon though. Got a whiff of petrol on the driver earlier. A quick nosey under the back end shows the corner of the tank where the filler enters looks damp. Don't know if it is the tank or neck that's leaking, but it would explain the piss poor fuel economy
