MK2 Rear Mirror same as Audi 200?

Is it possible that the Audi 200 used the same rear view mirror as a MK2 Scirocco?

The fittings look the same, and in some places it uses the same part number? They are much more readily available it seems.

Has anyone got a picture of the correct Scirocco MK2 rear view mirror ideally with an emphasis on the fittings?

Could be completely wrong, what do you think?

I'd say there's a very strong chance it would be the same across both. And the part numbers definitely seem to suggest that.

If the part number is the same the part is the same. Why else use a partnumber ?

Confirmed.

Mirror from Audi 200 fits perfectly. However could someone measure the width of their original Scirocco rear mirror and let me know as mine seems very wide?


(you can see the indecent rear view wiper in the back, looking for a new wiper and housing)

Approx 9 inch / 230mm

Thanks looks to be about the same size, around 10 inches at widest point.
