Anyone used a tappet treatment oil additive?

For all Carb and Injection engines, standard or modified plus non-standard engine transplants. Heads; Blocks; Cooling (including heater issues related to the cooling system); Mounts etc

My daily hack is starting to get a noisy tappet. Wondering if anyone has successfully (or not) used a can of snake oil tappet treatment? I'm not about to strip the top end down on a modern car to replace 1 tappet, just not worth the hassle

I have on my 8v engine, before I ripped it out for a 20v. It made it a lot less tappey but didn't fix it completely. Have heard mixed reviews about it, some say its amazing some say it does nothing.

I've used this on the two DX cars Nate - once a year usually keeps the cold start 'tap' away.
