Very difficult to find. I had the same issue:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=19260&p=133826#p133826

For a lot of original ones, the plastic housing seems to have perished. If you're lucky enough to find one on eBay/Amazon, get them to check the plastic housing is still solid but you'll probably be £50-£70. An alternative is to use a Golf Cabrio mirror, which has the same "metal plate bonded to windscreen" mechanism, even though the mirror itself is slightly different. They're maybe slightly easier to source. See this post viewtopic.php?t=15740.

In the meantime, if you feel safer driving with a mirror, it may be worth get a cheap £5 stick-on mirror as it might take a while to find a proper one!

Perhaps ask nicely in the "Parts Wanted" section.

Here is the part number to the interior mirror:

447857511 01C

Hard to come by.

If you find one watch for the next issues:

1. very expensive, 2. dried out and full off cracks, 3. lame swivel so it will not stay in place.

Is there chance to find replacement mirror glass for the side mirrors?
Plastics are ok but the glass itself has started peeling from the edges.

Someone else here bought a Passat part which is still available new and is more-or-less exactly the same.

Sorry, not Passat, Audi 200.
44785751101c is the Audi part number... same as VW.

It might also be worth checking if Porsche 924 mirrors are the same, as Porsche have very good classic car parts support (the 924 part number is 477 857 511 which is not massively different and it certainly looks similar in the photos I've seen).

So I manage to get new mirror glass parts, aftermarket ones (costed 4€ a piece :D ). They have double sided tape on the other side...
How the originals are installed?
How I can remove the original mirror glass?

By breaking the mirror. It's not designed to come apart.

Actually it's easier to tape it on top of the old one if it has double sided tape?

Yeah I also thought that just taping new ones on top would be the easiest way.

So no way to remove old ones, ok good to know.

There is a way to remove them but if i remember right it's more trouble than it's worth.

Ok, another question regarding the side mirrors :D

My friend got a pair on newer ones for his rocco. How to replace those with ones on right now? He can't seem to find a way to bolt them on.

Mk3 Golf one in mine - no complaints. Way better than the original which kept falling off!
