Rear screenwash bottle cap?

Post by a57737 »

Think this is the right section. Apologies if not.

Is there such a thing as a rear screenwash bottle cap? I'm on my third Rocco now and none have had them, just loose fitting plastic trim that doesn't really stop spillage.

Does it just match the front one?

Cheers in advance.

This is the only type. If it leaks, fill it less :-D

Yeh, that's what I have.

Perhaps I'll try and manufacture something

Maybe you're just overfilling it?

My suspension's pretty solid, I think that's part of the problem

The spoiler "is so efficient that frankly the Scirocco doesn't really need a rear window wiper"

I might be wrong, but i don't think it's meant to be a sealed unit so wouldn't this cause a vacuum when the water is pumped out. Could always drill a little hole in the cork i guess

You could always try this one.

It works for the front bottle and has a small hole for the air to get in.

So take the one in front of and try if it fits, if so order a new one for either front or rear .
