Bodykit adhesive

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and was hoping you guys might be able to help me.

I've removed the bodykit inc arches and door bottom panels on my mk2 to clean/ seal behind them aswell as replace a couple of parts and when I took them off there was an extremely strong adhesive holding them on.

Does anyone know if this adhesive is still available or what alternatives I could use for an oem fit?

Regards

Chris

i use tigerseal, really good stuff, very sticky and never get it off your clothes, does the job.... other forum uses will say there are many other brands that are cheaper, but i use tigerseal.

would tiger seal work with badges and trim?
ive used double sided tape at the mo which does work but the trip is starting to peel in places.

Use 3m stuff for badges and trim. I used it on the door bodykit bits, no problem. Just use 3m, not cheap stuff. Don't use tiger seal other than arches as its basically like silicone sealant and is messy.

A tip with Tigerseal or any other trim sealant/adhesive is to have a rag and some thinners/panel wipe to hand so if you get 'splodge' you can remove it quickly before it cures.
