VW Gol

Post by jim91 »

Excuse my ignorance but just came across pics of this, is it just me or is it quality :pilot: sort of a mix of loads of other VWs and I did find pics of ropey looking very 80s examples but the GT is pure class and very rocco-esque

I have a soft spot for South American VWs. The Gol is V cool in my book, especially the original air-cooled one.

I took some pics of a 1989 Gol GTI in the Wolfsburg museum in 2006. I'll post them up when I find them.

Got to love the Brazilian Karmann-Ghia TC too.

Apollo and Logus. Even a VW badge won't make a Ford any good.

The weird and wonderful Type 3 4-door with the 'Leiding nose' fascinates me.
