North Yorkshire moors railway classic car weekend

Post by MRMENDER »

Had a brilliant weekend. Went in the Cabrio. Our good friends Paul & Beverly who own a 1960's Vauxhall Cresta PA came along
The railway is of course set in Heartbeat country.
Enjoy the photos :)

Great pics, love the marina coupe and Mk1 golf. It's a lovely spot there, we were over around 4years ago and stayed in Whitby then drove across to Lake District.

They really not looking after that wee Anglia still I see. A classic show in the village or at the shops would look ace, I thought should have been a pre 1970 policy on cars allowed to park at the shops :-D

Quite a selection of cars there, bring back memory's when I had a 1972 Marina coupe just like that but it was green, I was in Collage at the time back in the mid 90's, great fun on wet roundabout with those skinny tyres and rear wheel drive. The car only cost £100 and it had 12 months MOT and tax!
