Hi guys firstly apologies for all the questions!
I have a tilt and slide sunroof in my car and having a few issues with it. Basically it clicks when trying to wind it either way, I took the handle off and found the handle chewed but also the spindle/cog it attaches to chewed so my first question... Can you replace the cog? Or it is entire roof job?
Secondly it's super tight going back (only put it back once since owning) then once I closed it the panel was all scratched so I'm assuming so dirty or stones are trapped in it. Easy fix?
Are the sunroof easy to remove or will it cause me a world of problems?
Thanks in advance

Re: Sunroof woes
Some part of the mechanism will have broken or become detached. Removing the sunroof is relatively straightforward if you have a Haynes manual to follow. Putting it back together is more tricky. I think most of the parts are available still.
