Adding a badge on the tailgate

Post by whiteshark »

I want to add another badge on the tail gate . The badge will require the blue rear badge clip lugs but there are no holes for this badge. What size of holes should I drill and is there anything else needed once the holes are drilled to stup rusting when the lugs are fitted.

Don't do it just another potential source of leaks and rust .

Use Tiger seal or something.

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will soon come up with better advice?

Decent double sided tape or if they're certain new factory badges they're stick ons anyway.

It's a 16v rear badge. I could cut off the badge plugs and put it on with some scotch double sided pressure tape.

trim tape. the foam stuff. don't use normal flat double sided, it won't stick to the back of the badge very well, as it isn't perfectly flat
