Mk2 gt 1.6 rolling restoration

Hi guys

Bought my mk2 in February and have been doing various bits and pieces. Thought I would share to see if anyone has any improvements/better ideas for it!

List of things done:
New suspension all round - gas struts and springs lowered 4cm all round
New clutch
Panel added to bulkhead to strengthen
Rocker cover gasket changed

List of planned changes:
Full respray
Fix rust
Clean engine and add some finer details

New interior was acquired for very cheap - thought the blue would match the car quite well and lighten up the inside.

Some rust has been sanded back and had some treatment.

List of things to do:
- respray
- repair arch - booked in for september
- fix cold start issue
- tidy up the engine bay
- new parcel shelf and clips
- lighter grey carpets
