Chrome interior door handles

Just in case any fancied some chrome handles, I had a hunt and found direct replacements, metal with a chrome finish.

The part numbers for the chrome door handles are:

321 837 225 b
321 837 226 b

According to partsbase:

the part numbers for the Scirocco handles are:

321 837 225 a
321 837 226 a

With VAG part numbers I was sure the last letter was for colour/finish.

Found these, for £16 for the pair, from www.trimsport.co.uk

They have them listed for the Mk2 Golf, but I bought them anyway and they fitted (almost) perfectly. The drivers side one went straight in, the passenger side was catching a little bit:



But a little trim with a scalpel and it slid in.

I've had chrome inner handles for years. I think mine came from an early Passat in a breakers.
