86 gtx fuel tank.

Are they the same as mk1 golfs I'm assuming it's a 40 litre one? Any help appreciated. Anyone have one for sale close to me even better!

An '86 will have the 55 litre tank with the space-saver spare wheel. Think Golf cabriolet tank is the same but others on here will correct me if I'm wrong.

Mk1 golf cabriolet is the same fuel tank, just check you have the space save wheel if so larger tank is what you need.
There is lots out there so shop around. Also paint /treat it before fitting and it should outlast the car..

Not sure if they sell injection and carb fuel tanks but hope you got one for the injection Golf.

55 litre tanks in roccos all the same be it for carbed or injected cars.
