Hi all!
Am upgrading the master cylinder on my 16v to a 22mm and need to get a resevoir that'll fit underneath the Induction pipe. (Its got the "proper" scirocco 16v inlet manifold) I've got one from a golf GTI which is too tall! I know they made em for the scirocco 16v but can I get one from any other car that'll do the job?
Any ideas appreciated, thanks!
Which brake resevoir ?

Which brake resevoir ?
Scirocco GTX 16v (conversion) Eibach/KW suspension, Stainless exhaust, Rear discs.
Re: Which brake resevoir ?
Was never happy with the compromised layout on A16 - from when the original 16v was reshelled back in '92 - check the passenger side scuttle area.

this was due to the Autocavan brake bar we had to use on this chassis just forcing the servo a little too far forward to allow the std bottle to fit in correct location. was then always 'one of those things' that never got properly sorted.

it's a mk3 polo bottle.

Cheers for that, GTXtra, polo Mk3 bottle it is then! P.S. wish my engine bay looked as tidy as yours- nice to have a couple of pics of what mine "should" look like! Also, where did you get that strut brace from? Is it specifically for the scirocco 16v?
Regards, Carl

Re: Which brake resevoir ?
Well it turns out I had a Polo mk 3 reservour anyway-mine from a golf GTI mk2 (same!) The prob is mine won't fit because the induction pipe's not from a 16v scirocco, its the old 8v pipe cut down to fit, so it doesn't quite take the same route as yours! (Will post up some pics when I get a min) Will keep a look-out for the proper bit of pipe on ebay. Got a bottle from an Audi 80 which does the trick so alls good for now!
Cheers for the help though, Carl
