Black rear seat

Ok I know theres black leather seats of mk1 and 2 but is there such a thing as black cloth seats ?
Im after a complete black cloth rear seat as doing away with my leather in the mk2
Is it rare ? Is it a dying job ? Is there even such a thing ??????

VW didn't make the MK2 with a plain black cloth seat. The early GTi's had black with the white squares, the GTX as you are probably aware was black and two shades of grey (and red and grey and blue and grey) and later GTX's had the VW corporate 'tartan' in two clours but not plain black, the early Scala had Laskey White, Dove grey, Mauritus blue with red stripes and Carmine red and the later Scalas and GT2's had the VW designer check. The only plain black listed in the brochures was black leather.

funny you should ask that Jake, i've got one in the back of my transit. it's the cloth from a polish mk2 that has been put onto the foam from a mk1. think i've got a gt2 rear seat that you can have too, so it would fit proper. i'll grab you some pics in the morning if i remember. hassle me about it if i forget, i've got a brain like a sieve at the moment
