Hey all, I'm looking to do a 2.0l conversion on the rocco and want to go down the Audi bubble block route for ease. I've seen from various threads as well as the conversion options on here that the Engine code to use is '3A' but am having trouble finding one. So the question is are there any other codes that are essentially the same? Someone suggested the 2.0l bottom end out of an 8v 94' audi 80 with a code of ABK.
All suggestions welcome, basically looking to keep my head and pretty much all ancillaries. just want a simple cheap conversion to 2.0l that I can use as a good base for other mods like head work, cam, exhaust etc. want it to involve minimal wiring changes and use my original mounts.
Car in question is an 88' Scala 1.8 Carb - EX code
