256mm front disc upgrade.. which cover plates?

Post by treefingers »

Quick question.. I'm guessing I need to run cover plates when I fit my 256mm calipers and discs. My question is which ones though?

I can only find cover plates for standard 239mm discs.. http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_spares_Bac ... StartRow=1

does anyone know if these will be big enough for 256mm discs? or which cover plates will fit!

cheers

They're not essential. Theres many cars out there that the originals have rusted away and not been replaced

Just been reading up and it looks like a lot of people don't seem to run em anyway.. Saves ££ which is good! Cheers

Binned mine, the kit's so big it'd be pointless anyway.

Pointless, no need and all they do is rust away.
