after finally getting round the taking the clocks out today as they havent worked since i got the rocco it appears that somebody has snapped the ribbon cables.
can somebody just checl the images below that that is whats happened as i don't want to buy new clocks if i dont have to
Basically my understanding is there are 4 plugs 2 for each side 2 are on the car wiring loom and the other 2 are of the clocks ribbon cable and they are the 2 that have been ripped off :(
Saw mr funk earlier today and explained it to him and he seemed to think the same with then being a bit beyond it lol
The later Golfs (and Jettas) had a clock set with only one plug in, the Scirocco was never fitted with Digifant (not in the UK) and all the associated parts, they stuck with good old-fashioned K-Jet.
