Early Chin Spolier - Group buy

Post by Calvert »

Hi guys!

I have a front panel here off an early mk1 (its not mine, im borrwing it)

Plan is to make a mould for the chin spolier.

Now; would anyone be interested in getting one?

The mould will go up before where the bumper goes.

Price would be around £80.

The more we get on order the cheaper it will be.

Coincindence?

A similar group buy is tsrating on the German forum, where a member has identified a German company that could make them:

The company: https://de-de.facebook.com/OLSNFaserverbundtechnik

The thread on the German Rocco forum: http://www.sciroccoforum.de/forum/showt ... oilerlippe

@Calvert

Are you talking about replicating the metal spoiler that is integral to the (very) early front panel? Like this -

Mr Brown -

Yes that very part.

I may have to resort to getting a metal one fabricated then welded on, but Ive got a quote on a fiberglass/GRP one and thought id see if anyone would be interested in one.

I would be interested in a copy of the spoiler shown by MK1gls as I have a number of MK1s, having had MK1s for many years I now how easy it is to break them on a grass verge with out thinking about it, let me know if you decide to go ahead with ordering some.

A friend of mine has knocked this up from my original front early front panel. We liken it to the repo panel quality it would need work to get it fit perfect. He is going to charge £50 but could do them cheaper If there was a group buy. If anyone is interested drop me a PM. :-D
