Hi All,

When i reshelled the car I installed a complete gear repair kit. Only prob is the big spring doesnt seem to be as strong as the original. The rebuild kit was the usual Mk1 Golf type.

I have to pull the gear shift to make sure I get into gear and don't slip into first.

Dodgy spring? I've tried two now.
