Hey guys.
Quick question. How easy would it be to fit a kr 16v engine into a mk 2 scirocco gtx?
Many thanks
Stephen

Re: kr 16v
It helps that yours is already injection as your wiring and fuel supply will be much simpler
Theres lots of guides on mk1 golf forum that will apply, theres not much difference in the mk1 & mk2 running gear
The hardest thing i think is finding parts, get a donor car if you can - a mk2 golf 16v being your best bet or mk3 ABF 2.0 16v for a more modern and powerful engine, although clearance with the bonnet can be an issue - someone who knows mk2 better might advise on this

So many plans, so little time
