Seals - like a sieve!

Post by Dan_E30 »

Guys, where can I source seals from?

I need to source seals for the boot, boot lock and outer window scrapers.

i used cut down seals from an early polo 3 door which work well except they are slightly taller than the old ones.
boot seal can be sourced from scrap yard off the newest car you can find in there, or from vw at about £40 a meter which is what i ended up paying :shocking:
the lock seal can be sourced from volksbits who can mail to you, or vw might still sell them

I paid £62 for a boot seal from the dealers, the lock seal is available from VW Heritage.

If you email or call VW Heritage and ask them about scrapers it may jolt them into sourcing a supplier! They sourced some for me about 4 years ago for the Storm but when I asked about ones for the Scala, the reply was "not enough interest"!

I got mine from here a couple of years ago. It was the top one that I used.
