Ey up. The cable the drives the electric window has snapped, i were wondering if theres a possible way to fix this, for now i've took the motor off and reverted back to manual winder.
Now for the central locking. I had the door card off to remove the window motor, then when i put it all back together for no reason the central locking stopped working. I can hear a clicking noise coming from the fuse box area when i press to lock or unlock. But nothing happens on the passenger side.

Re: Electric window and Central locking Problems.
is it genuine elec windows or aftermarket?
as for the locks, genuine (silly air powered stuff) or aftermarket electrical? you've probably either damaged a wire (or air pipe) or disturbed a connector. i'm assuming the other doors work ok?

Re: Electric window and Central locking Problems.
The windows are an after market kit. I've seen cable repair kits ok ebay but there for every car except 'roccos.
As for the central locking i think thats electric too, i cant really see it but there are wires running up to it. Yea the other door locks ok, i just have to do it individually. I probably have knocked a wire or summet.

Re: Electric window and Central locking Problems.
chances are the window kits are made by electric life. possibly worth contacting them? http://www.electric-life.com/
i fitted one of the cheapy ebay cable repair kits to my toledo. it successfully managed to open the window once, and then it broke trying to close it again.
to sort your locks, check for any damage where the cable goes into the door (most obvious place first!) and if that's ok, you'll need to whip the door panel off and carefully check for any damage to the loom inside the door

Thanks mate, i'll check them out.
As for the central locking, i'll have a look at the wiring and whip the door card on weekend if the weather picks up.
I'll let you know how i get on.
Thanks.
