Best oil grade?

Post by daffy.dub »

Hi everyone, just wondering what the best oil to put in my Rocco? It's a GT2, on a k plate with 89k miles on the clock. Currently running with 10/40 should I use a thicker oil like Halfords' new classic car oil? :dunno:

VW Synta Silver is perfect for the job, 10/40 semi-synthetic and a damn sight cheaperthan Halfords, I usually pay around £16-£17 for 5 litres from the dealers and always use a genuine VW oil filter!
