Took the cover off and suprised how clean it still is in the head after 4 years and 10,000 miles, you can just see the blue hylomar on the 5th bearing cap.
This has solved the problem so if any one else has the same problem, try is.

Fixed an oil leak
I've had a small oil leak at the back of the rocker cover just behind cyinder 1 and after looking things up on the internet someone else had used Hylomar instant gasket on the cam shaft bearing cap nearest the camshaft sprocket so I thought I would give it a go, (The Haynes manual did say dont use anything) I had already fitted a rubber cam shaft cover gasket and a new cam shaft oil seal so guessed that was not the problem.
Took the cover off and suprised how clean it still is in the head after 4 years and 10,000 miles, you can just see the blue hylomar on the 5th bearing cap.
