Old School tuners in South Wales?

Post by daffy.dub »

Hi everyone, my Scirocco's finally back on the road and looking great, but the new Weber I put on it is running very rich. Does anybody know of a good 'old school' rolling road/tuners in South Wales. Tried Willfield Motors in Abercynon for 2 weeks now, with no response. Does anybody know if he's stopped trading? :dunno:

Have you tried just tuning it yourself. Webbers are really simple to tune.

I bought a Gunson Gas tester of ebay for £40, stick it in your exhaust pipe and turn to screw on the side of the webber till the emissions are right and job done The car runs great now! There is only 2 adjustments on the webber, one for the emissions/mixture and one for the idle speed so really easy to set up.
Here a link to one but others on ebay.
