Dash lights

Post by Mr Funk »

Completely lost mine. They were a bit sketchy but now seem dead. Odd as the high beam light comes on (although sometimes there's a delay). Ay help great fully recieved.

Oh yeah, and the little square thing that connects the speedo cable to the speedo keeps disapeering. Can I just glue it into the back of the speedo?

Dash bulbs are still available from the dealers. It could be a fault with the headlight switch also.

Do you mean the lights which light up the display or the LEDs which light up with the high beam , indicators etc?

Ah yes,
It's the little plastic pole that's sat in the cup of the speedo it then goes into the back of the speedo and turns it all.

I think ive used tape to hold mine in place as the clip is broken on mine.

On the subject of dash lights does anyone know where we can get LED replacements dash lights from? I always find the standard ones a bit lacking and having seen how much brighter LEDs made my interior roof light I think they would be a huge improvement.

i have a cold cathode neon tube in my dials.
you can prise the white bulb holder off the clocks and retrofit the tubes in that then glue back down. i took the light feed from the cigar liter socket which has worked well up to now.
