Just a Query, i'm changing the water pump on the MK1 tomorrow, could i run the car without the stat,
just thinking out loud, thinking about extra cooling and stuff. Ta :hi:

Although yes, you can. Too much cooling won't allow the engine to warm up quickly enough. Not really recommended. You might be able to get a cooler thermostat if your really worried about temperature. But I wouldn't be unless your running a heavily tuned engine.
