Deffo worth changing for high tensile versions....they are like chocolate and a right pain in the butt to remove without rounding them.
When I have had problems getting them out, i have found that hammering a spline drive socket used to remove driveshaft bolts into the hex gets them out nicely

scrape out the inside of the head before you start to remove all the oily dirt that will have accumulated in there. use an allen bit on a ratchet drive and tap the bit fully in with a hammer before you start. i've not had a problem getting one off yet. the usual reason people round out allen headed bolts is not getting the bit all the way in.
