Scirocco Register

Well in the near completion of welding on my Scirocco Ts 76, I've completed the rear and only the front end to sort

but need some help and a few questions answering well here goes:

1. are early inner wings different to later inner wings as i have some NOS inner wings but part number different from the early ones?

2. my car came with rear lights one with chrome trim one without which one is correct?

3. does any know or have pictures of the radio/cassette the early scirocco came with and pictures?

Cost option, so none as standard. Likely to have been aftermarket or dealer-supplied (so various models) if fitted.

Just had a look on the Drivers Found website, it has all the old brocheres. It looks like the GLS was the first Scirocco to have chrome trim on the rear lights.

As Ed has said, radio was a dealer fit item, but the wiring was put in at the factory.

thought this was the case so someone must have broken the light and replaced it better get searching

Early and late inner "wings" are different around the front edge where the indicator unit sits. From the metal sections I have here you will likely be able to use the latter inner wing with the early wing and indicator unit however if your wishing to use the early inner wing and later wrap around wing and indicators you will definately need to adjust the sheetmetal to allow the late indicator to fit.
