Well hey! I was wondering what happened to this! Glad you still have it.

I was gutted when it got bashed, and more gutted that I wasn't in a position to fix and restore it properly. I still have the tan seats for it if you ever make it up north again!

adyjoad wrote:Hi Andy, yes I still have her. The poor things been sat in the corner for ages waiting for some love. Won't be a restoration yet as I've got too much else on but it will just be a case of tidying her up and getting on the road to get some use out of her.

Might take you up on those seats if I'm up your way, still have your exhaust too but I guess that's not urgent. How is the 4x4 project?

Great pictures , thanks for posting them.
Getting her back on the road will be great, it was always a hoot driving that car! I'd almost forgotten about the exhaust, you'll have to let me know when you're next up this way and I'll make sure we can exchange bits!

Might be one of the last ones registered, but I'm fairly certain it was built early '80 or even '79, as it has the chassis number stamped on the turret, not on the plenum panel. There's also a few other minor details that are different to my 1980 Storm, but the same as my current '79 GLS. If the Chassis number starts 539 it's '79. and if it's 53A it's an '80.

I'll bet it's a very early '80 car, that was a demonstrator or something, so not registered until it was finally sold.
