Alloys? or even Steelies?

Post by Rocco Ben »

im trying to decide on what wheels to get for the Rocco :) i've got D90s in the garage but don't want to put them on because I feel they're to big at 16" so any nice sugestions and pics would be cool. im looking for something about 14" but might go to 15s at a push. and i want something different not ATS cups or BBSs that have been done to death. :nerner:

any help would be good :D

Cheers
Ben

sorry it's quite a broad question

I have some information on this NEW 10 spoke wheel that I am about to mount up on my 87 16V Scirocco.

This 15” Dia. wheel is available now in two widths.
Both the 7” and 8“wide versions fit the VW A1 and A2 chassis but the 8” wide version may have outside tire sidewall top to inner fender liner clearance issues on VW MK2s with 205s or wider. This wheel was developed for the Spec BMW E30 racing market. It should be considered for use on BMW 2002-235is as well as A1 VWs. The wheel has one stem hole and the mounting holes are drilled with cone seats. A 5 lug version is available for the E30 M3 but the center design is different.

Dimensions for TRM C1:

15x7 ET 25 with 57mm center bore 4x100mm cone seat bolt pattern 13lbs color gray. (my wheels are custom silver)

15x8 ET 20 with 57mm center bore 4x100mm cone seat bolt pattern 13lbs color gray.

Image

First impressions of the wheel:

I like the design.
It works for me, may not work for you. I like the 10 spokes and the deep center dish.

The fitting is good.

Quite agree about the BBS done to death although I still like
The cups are cool
I had the same kind of views as your good self and wanted just to a tad different I opted for 14" Zandvoort with out the centre caps(the k jet brothers here in Belfast) like them like that .I still fancy with centre caps if I could track some down.
Pic of the wheel for you

There`s a blue scirocco blowin warm wind into my face
The sun is shining on the underside of the bridges
And there`s cars going by with smiles in the windows

wellers on a rocco

d90's work for me - ;) of the factory wheels i think the G60 steel still takes some beating for a nice, clean, understated but still quite mean look.

acquired some 6 x 15 ats cups this weekend. destined for the mk1 but might try them on a mk2 out of curiousity.

some favourites -
