Mk1 Lower Trim Clips

Post by theboysmiffy »

Hi. Does anyone know where to obtain these? They hold the chrome strip to the sill on the side of the car. The painter broke mine during the respray. Have tried mk1 Golf but they don't seem right. Cheers

I used mk1 golf ones on mine, as your car has been resprayed there is a build up of paint in the holes which may be why they are hard to fit. Try removing the middle pin on the clip and tap into the hole, or shave a bit of the clips.
